Panagiotis and Dimitra’s wedding was unique both in terms of the strong connection between them, as well in terms of the means of transportation they used to leave the church. Everywhere I looked around the house during the preparation there were reminders of the love and affection between Dimitra and Panagiotis. Post-it notes, cards, even paper towels with sweet words indicated to me that they will go out of their way to make each other’s day special even with little things.

Riding a motorcycle is not considered the traditional means of leaving the church. This did not stop Dimitra from altering her wedding dress in no time and hopping on Panagiotis’ Yamaha on their way to the reception and their new life together in a way. The wedding took place at the church of Agia Fotini Ilissou in Athens.
